Malipo Pole Pole — Borehole Now, Pay in Instalments

We believe water access should not be delayed by finance. Our structured payment plans let you start your project today and settle the balance over an agreed timeline — with full transparency.

Funding your water project shouldn't be a burden.

Teko Engineering offers semi and fully funded borehole drilling solutions across Kenya. Whether you can raise a deposit or prefer an asset-secured arrangement, we structure a plan that works for your situation. All terms are put in writing through a formal contract.

Malipo Pole Pole

Our instalment programme — pay as your water source generates value. Transparent interest rates, mutually agreed timelines, and honest partnership throughout.

💳
50% Deposit + Balance in Instalments

If you can raise 50% or more of the project cost upfront, we begin drilling immediately and you settle the balance in agreed instalments at reasonable interest.

📋
Logbook or Title Deed as Security

If you cannot raise the 50% deposit, you may offer a motor vehicle logbook or land title deed as a guarantee. This enables us to begin your project without a cash deposit.

🏘️
Asset-Based Payment

We accept payment in the form of land, vehicles, or any mutually agreed asset based on valuation — a unique option for clients with significant assets but limited liquidity.

📝
Fully Documented & Contractual

Every arrangement is transparent, honest, and objective. All decisions and payment terms are captured in a formal written contract agreement before work begins.

From Site Survey to Flowing Water

Our proven process ensures your borehole is drilled in the right location, to the right depth, with the right casing — maximising yield and longevity.

01

Hydrogeological Survey

Our geologists visit the site, assess rock formations, and identify the optimal drilling point. A formal hydro-geological report is provided.

02

Mobilisation

Our drilling rig and support truck arrive on site. Preparation of the drilling location takes approximately 3 hours based on soil and rock conditions.

03

DTH Borehole Drilling

Down-The-Hole technology is used to drill, with geological samples taken every 2 metres and water levels continuously recorded to estimate aquifer yield.

04

Casing & Development

Steel or UPVC casing is installed to maintain bore integrity. The well is developed by removing clays and fine particles to maximise aquifer performance.

05

Test Pumping & Handover

A long-duration test pump is conducted to confirm yield and aquifer parameters. We install your pump system and hand over a fully operational water source.

Reliable Hydro-Mechanical Solutions

We design, install, optimize, and maintain high-efficiency water systems — combining engineering expertise with genuine partnership.

Energy-Efficient Pump Installations

Solar-powered and energy-optimised submersible pump systems that cut long-term operating costs while delivering reliable, sustainable water supply.

🖥️

Smart Water Control Systems

Automated water level controllers, pressure management systems, and smart monitoring technology for effortless borehole management.

🏆

High Performance Borehole Systems

Industry-grade DTH drilling equipment and precision casing processes that maximise aquifer yield and ensure long-term structural integrity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before starting your borehole project.

What is the total cost of drilling a borehole in Kenya? +
The cost of drilling a borehole depends on the location and depth required, which varies significantly by region and geology. Kindly contact us directly for a customised quotation tailored to your specific site. We offer transparent, itemised pricing with no hidden costs.
What documents are required before drilling a borehole? +
You will need: a Geological/Hydrological Survey report carried out by a registered geologist; Water Resource Management Authority (WRMA) authorisation; an Environmental Impact Assessment report; and a NEMA licence. If required, Teko Engineering can assist you in acquiring all of the above permits and licences.
What is a hydro-geological report and why do I need one? +
Once a geologist surveys your site, they produce a detailed report on the geology of the parcel of land. This report indicates the estimated depth of the water table and the exact recommended location for drilling — ensuring your borehole is placed for maximum yield and minimum cost.
Why do I need a NEMA report? +
A NEMA report consists of an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) detailing the impact of borehole drilling on the surrounding environment. In Kenya, this is a mandatory legal requirement before drilling commences. Teko can help facilitate this process on your behalf.
How does the Malipo Pole Pole payment plan work? +
Our instalment programme allows you to start your borehole project with a 50% deposit and pay the remaining balance over mutually agreed intervals. If you cannot raise the deposit, you may offer a vehicle logbook or title deed as security. All terms are fair, transparent, and fully documented in a written contract. Reasonable interest rates apply and are agreed upfront.
Why do I need a water analysis report after drilling? +
After drilling and test pumping, we take a water sample to a certified government laboratory for analysis. This confirms the water quality and determines whether any treatment is required before use for drinking, cooking, irrigation, or industrial applications.
